In our news publishing approach and our choices regarding our sources, we do not give credence to news sources that are “anywhere they come from” or those with power-money relationships, such as “mass media” or what is also called “mainstream media”—sources that are the voice of their owners! Forces of social struggle are seeking ways to secure the right to access information through newspapers, television, digital and print media; independent, resilient and free media centers, individuals and groups within independent journalism, in short, forces of solidarity; are creating news networks and increasingly, alternative news networks across continents. We view this situation with sympathy. We maintain an open stance towards communication and solidarity. In the current process, we value a news approach that is non-manipulative and committed to truth. This is our approach to news sources. In our past Simurg-News activities and today in our 24NP.Info work, we want to introduce the media organizations, collectives, and media networks that we have encountered, interacted with, exchanged resources with, and/or whose news we have covered in our newsletter and deemed worthy of inclusion on our platforms. Because we are not alone on this planet. Because hope is contagious. We find international, continental/intercontinental, and anti-system media efforts and collaborations based on democracy, freedom, fundamental human rights, and the right to information meaningful and valuable. We see this ground as a guarantee of freedom. As long as the last reporter, editor, photographer, cameraman, blogger, vlog, magazine, newspaper, news agency, news collective, etc., pursuing the truth exist, the liberation struggles of peoples will continue to make their voices heard, and the poor, the oppressed, and the workers, the true owners of labor, will continue to cling to life more tightly.
